Is there any danger to the DAC if a resistor value below
10 ohms is used in the I/V process? Will it put any more
stress on the chip. I ask this because I have more than
enough gain after the DAC and padding down with resistors
before the preamp degrades the sound. And the gain
of the preamp I do not want to change.
Componet chain is: DAC>I/V-R>10:1xfmr>preamp
Also the best square wave response is with the xtfmr>
Preamp coupled direct. (and I keeping the xfmrs in there.)
