Ive found two TDA 1541 (Sıngle Crown) chıps ın my stock.
Any advıce what DAC to buıld wıth them?

Why people want s1 anyway? It is marginally better than 1541A, and those can be found by the dozens..

Its S2 or the bust i say!

Well , they are all genuine ( as much as they are ) , may some have some extra capabilities , will our ears find it out , it seems to me as an old magicians who do tricks that no one has seen ......

I found the millesim year and aera of fab due to some extra process refinments more important than the number of crowns anyway !

but I haven't tried th two crown yet, being from Philips european plant or a late Taiwann !

No they are totally different.

Better manufacturing process = better chips. Same with pcm63, later ones regular can be as good or better than earlier K.
