Hi ! playing with this chip
I guess the power supply used has an impact on the sound quality
I searched but did not find a specific thread dealing with this issue
What are you using ?
i am using now a 24V/10A industrial smps for control panels
Thanks a lot.

if theyre anything like the CLASS-D amp kits you can get from ebay - they usually have a voltage range they'llwork in , 12V-27V - but they work best at 25V, and 3A-5A. Voltages lower than 20V will work but they will max out and clip the audio earlier when turned up as there wont be as much power available to the amp . 25V or approximate works well.

Low voltages like 9V or lower will probably cause your amp to keep switching off as the current taken up by the speakers will not leave enough power for the amp to function, so 12V but try to use a power supply of 20-25V, and a current of 3-5A.

Hi thank you for the very kind and helpful advice
From the datasheet i see 36Vdc max
However as 36v is not a very common voltage i am using different 24v smps power supply
I wonder if a linear psu could provide any benefits to the siund
