I would like to use DC battery instead of AC transformer for power the CD player . Then I used +12v,+5v, -12v, -5V DC battery to replace 7805,7905,7812,7912 regulator. However, no response.

What is the reason?

Any additional DC that I need to supply for the IC and other devices?
