Did you get the replacement IC3 from a reputable distributor?
Did MC1 come directly from the manufacturer?

Hello Perry,
Sorry, i was traveling for work.
Did you get the replacement IC3 from a reputable distributor?
Yes, arrow.com
Did MC1 come directly from the manufacturer?
Yes
Can you tell me what IC3's role is?
And what does it control?
I'll look into it myself too.

Were the photos in post #1 from your amp? The rail voltage is for a 0.5 ohm amp. The 4127s might work but would not be as reliable if the amp was pushed hard. They could be used for low-power testing but I wouldn't use them as a replacement.
I have two amps with me, one MD 12000.1 at 0.5 ohm (rail voltage 137V with IRFB4115 MOSFETs),
and the other an MD 12000.1 at 1 ohm (rail voltage 180V with IRFB4127 MOSFETs).
The second one had an overheating issue with IC3, but I found the problem — it was caused by three diodes. I replaced them and it's working fine for now.
However, do you know the reference for the diodes? I took them from another amp.
As for the MD 12000.1 at 0.5 ohm, I’ll keep it with the IRFB4115 MOSFETs.

The only information given is 15v, 1w. Measure them and order 15v, 1w diodes int he same package. If you find a good match, post it here. It may help someone else.
