Tapped vs. Back loaded vs. Scoop Horns vs. TQWT vs. t-lines vs. Dipoles?

So I've been doing some reading inorder to better understand tapped horns and how they work. They seem to be fairly similar to a scoops or rear loaded horns, but I am struggling to understand how mounting the driver inside the horn works or works better. I'm also curious how they compare to transmission lines, tapped quarter wave tubes, and dipoles, which also make use of the driver's rear wave. Your thoughts?

all add front and rear wave with different delay and loading. you can download the TH patent from google patent search. or use hornresp to simulate a comparison.

Very well put!

Can someone clarify this statement....?

......remember the length of the horn determines how low it will go, and the distance from the Rear Tap to the Throat is what fills in the dips, not the Rear Tap to Mouth distance.
