Tapered Wave Tube with Damp Duct(TWTD) for Alpair10.3, MAOP10, CHR-90

Brother just one clarification
the original Sibelius speaker has a narrow duct while your design has a much wider duct ... any difference in the design...

Yes, Sibelius uses a special driver, has a narrow duct area, short duct length, and unknown sound absorbing material.

DDVP has a larger duct area, longer duct length, and less sound-absorbing material.

Can the rear facing opening of the TWTD be used close (1 foot) to a rear wall or would the DDVP with a front facing opening be a better choice? I'm assuming the low end response for the two speakers would be different this close to a wall?
DDVP (TQWT) and TWTD have similar low-frequency extension and volume.
DDVP has a large duct area and is attached to the front, making it more dynamic.
TWTD has a smaller duct area and is offset to the rear, resulting in fewer peaks and dips.

Thanks 😊 Nandappe for this information!
I have been wondering 💭 which design would be better… and I’m not sure 🤔 which I would prefer… probably would depend on the driver… only way to tell is make both designs and use identical drivers to compare My preference!
