As the title suggests, I'm interested if anyone has a set of CAD drawings for the Westminster Royal.....
I've built numerous GRF cabs and other Altec and Lowther cabinets using CNC, so I'm sure the Westminster would also work well using this construction method.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Kind regards.

you can start from here , at least basis for cad plans :

Although I can't comprehend Why CNC would be of advantage.
Converting plans to CAD AND ensuring accuracy will take far longer than actually using templates. You planning on Multiple Westminsters? For Coin??
Beyond that and the Lore attributed to Westies, In No small part generated by their Size.. Price! and limited availability/exclusivity.. these are actually mediocre to poor Horn designs... when modeled 🙂

drek xover is revealing real quality of WM
there is a reason for RLC trap in series with bass driver , and I don't like that

CNC cut a Westminster? Why? Part of its appeal is its bespoke / coach-built nature.
That aside, the Westminster is one of Tannoy's current production models, so plans are not available to DIYers or anybody else. They would take a decidedly bleak view of anybody producing copies, for instance.

The CNC'ing is mainly for the larger panels and fitment of braces etc. With so many cuts, this is an easier approach as I have limited tools. Further, I can have panels interlocking into pre cut slots, making for a very secure build....saves stuffing around with dowels and biscuits.
There's still plenty of hand work to do on the hardwood trim etc.
The build is not for me, but a gent who's got numerous pairs of tannoy drivers to test.

one of my friends has a CNC cut plan for all the cabinet except the horn. he bought it from a replica-maker in Singapore.

There is a Japanese guy who has them, he has a page on the web and will send you the CAD plans for free. Will have a hunt.
