Hi I’m new to the forum. I’m looking for the schematics for the above tannoy subwoofer. It’s the TS2 8” not the TS8 I’m guessing you guys know a lot more than me but just thought I would say. I’m looking for a particular resistor and can’t find it anywhere online. The markings are W7J, 581 and 51ohm
Thanks for any help

The W7J probably breaks down as follows:
W wirewound
7 7 watt
J 5% tolerance
The 581 is likely a manufacturer code. You'll be good with any 51ohm 7W+ resistor 🙂
Does anyone recognise the logo?

@Donthertzme thank you for your quick response! This be ok? Resistor, Ww 7W 5% 51R, Power Rating 6W, W22 Series: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics It says 6w but 7w at 25 degrees
That looks good. Welwyn W22 is rated at 7W according to the data sheet.
Personally I'd be inclined to buy from a reputable dealer like RS, Mouser or Digikey though. For example (assuming you're in the UK):
RWM062251R0JA15E1 | Vishay 51Ω Wire Wound Resistor 7W +-5% RWM062251R0JA15E1 | RS Components

Ok so I replaced that resistor and it has t fixed the issue. There is power to the sub as it switched on. I’ve tested the speaker bu attaching wires to it from my receiver and sound is played. But somewhere something isn’t working. Where do you get replacement plates from?
