Tannoy S8 LR Xover Schematic & Parts List

Hi everyone,

I bought a pair of Tannoy S8 LR DC units(2064) . I am planing to build diy S8 LR cabins.. Unfortunatelly I could not find the xover shematic and parts list of S8 LR speakers on the net. I found some pics of S8 LR xover only. You can see it the pics below.. The values of the parts on it are clearly visible except of the coil... I have no idea about the specs of the coil.

If anyone knows, please help..

I only can guess the schematic base on your photos of the crossover. I don't know the value of the inductor. You can find the value of the inductor if you have a LCR meter.

Thanks for your reply. The problem is, I don't have the xover, I could only find the pics of the xover that I shared. So I can't measure the coil's value. The crossover info according to the manual is, "frequency is 1.5 kHz" btw..

I still can't find the schematic.

Does anybody have it or know the value of the coil?

The inductor should be 1mH, 18AWG, laminated core (should be a laminated core inductor).

Then, is it the same with Tannoy S8 floorstand's DC line?

Yes, it is the same. It is the same crossover schematic of one old Mission speaker (3/4" tweeter, 8" woofer) but I don't remember it's model.
