Can anyone tell me the recommended x-over frequency for this dual concentric driver? I have 2 without x-overs. Thanks.
Thanks - I did see that, but I can't work out from the schematic what the x-over frequency is - I'm not that clever. I have a few x-overs lying about and I was hoping one of them might come close. I did try contacting Tannoy via some ghastly US holding company and their 'care' system, but, having supplied them with enough information to empty my bank account and sell my children into slavery, I discovered that I couldn't ask a question that was not in their pre-prepared 'list'....!!

FWIW, the published specs say 1.8 kHz for the 2064, which is ~dead center of an 8" driver's optimum XO point.

It's on the low end of optimum, so just a matter of how much it affects the tweeter's power handling capability Vs how loud you play them, so your call.

I have a pair of Tannoy Saturn 8's which contain 2064's specs state crossover frequency at 1.5 Khz
One of the LF coils is OC, not sure what to do with them, surprisingly they sound OK as there is an additional woofer.
I might sell the units so would have the crossovers available, the only issue might be that they cut off LF's on the 2064. This should be easy to correct.
