Anyway you put the green areas is just a tweek to suit the original pipe and its established as two steps of two CSAs each, and two steps of the other side which then has one big step of both, and all are in ‘harmony’ , because the LP filter and wave expansion to exit allow it to be as standing waves are cut each time as well
