hello, i'm a newbie. i got a pair of tamura pp opt 100 watt with 2 terminals feedback marked cf1 & cf2. can anyone tell me how to use these feedback for pp kt88 power amp.thanks.
Cf1 should go the feedback resistor and Cf 2 should go to ground
I am based in KL, Msia
If u are around this area perhaps i can help by taking a better look at it.
But the suggestion above is standard
Cheers

I think you have a set of OPTs with cathode feedback taps; basically windings intended to apply negative feedback by being placed in series with the cathodes of the output valves.
If I'm right, you'll have to place them in series with the cathodes of the output stages.
Do you have a model number on the OPTs?
Hi,
Exactly.
Tamura F 2011 or 2012 probably.
Cheers,😉

Reducing distortion, which it does quite well.
Not everything is about more power.... 🙂
thankyou everybody, after connecting the cf, WAH! 😱
SO AMAZING!!! I can't imagine. Now i understand why Tamura so expesive.
