Scheduled for resolution Tables don't render

It seems tables aren't rendered. When I try to insert a table, I get some HTML-like mock-up code. The table doesn't render. MacOS, Safari 15.2.

I've been meaning to investigate this, but I discovered this while testing the new site. XenForo tables are not compatible with HTML tables.

EDIT: Oh, this seems to be a different problem....

It is doing something, see here...

The word table begins capitalised and remains that way in edit mode.

Try that with something random within brackets and the capitalisation doesn't change, even if you make it mixed.
