SS15 and TH18 are both prosound cabinets. If this were for a living room and indoor listening I'd want something tuned wayyyy lower.

You may find some inspiration here.
Tapped Horns

I would tend to agree, but nothing in that link is dimensionally appropriate for either a coffee table or an ottoman. (I guess if you stacked two of the little 30 hz horns on top of each other it could be a really long skinny ottoman).

This is why I said it might be hard to find the tuning and all other characteristics you want in a ready made plan with the dimensions you want. You might have to design your own.

The Tuba HT (THT) seems to fit your dimensions I think its 36 x 36 x 15 deep with a 12 incher or 24" deep for a 15" driver. Its designed to go to 20 hz and Loud. Never built it because of its big size but there are many good reviews on them

Does not "Need" to be a tapped horn, I'm just a fan... What I need is the driver protected inside, so little feet don't hit them. The didn't ions are also not locked in at 36 X 36 X 17 either, just a place to start is all. Tuba THT is fro that "other" guy as well I believe. I'll peek at the other suggestions now.....

I'm starting to look closer at the lilmike T6, or anarchy horn... Dropping it on its side and adding some legs to it? How dumb does that sound? 24 X 36 X 13. Adding legs with a slight oversize table top on it. Overhang an inch all around. Losing option for corner loading etc, would that deliver much impact in the room for sub zone vibes? I've already got ideas for finishing lol...
