LJM Tripath TA2022
Hello,
I build ljm ta2022 amp kit, v. 1.2.
Very nice sound but.... I noticed
that inductors heat up a lot ! 😱
Is this normal ??
I'm pretty worried about the speakers,
especially for the tweeters, for now I have put aside
the ta2022.

A LOT is not normal, up to some 50 degrees Celsius is OK. The heating comes from magnetic losses. If the cores are of a wrong type or the inductance is too low, the currents circulating can be very high.
TA2022 is operating at variable switching frequency and that increases losses.
Have you tried to lower the supply voltage?

maximum temperature since now is 53°.
power supply is unregulated with toroidal
21+21 V, so below 30+30 V DC,
the board is rated up to 24+24 AC (34+34 DC).

I found the board at Audiophonics.fr. Nice board. As far as I can see, the inductors read "220" - 22uH. 10uH is recommended in the TA2022 datasheet. The higher the inductance, the less circulating current which means less heating. So far, so good.
I have a cheap TA2022 board YJ TA2022 HIFI amplifier board dual AC22V 0 22V 2.0 channgel TA2022 amplifier 2*90W (F) same LM3886|hifi amplifier|ta2022 amplifierhifi amplifier board - AliExpress . It sounds very good as well. But, notice the size difference of the inductors. Yours are smaller and the air-flow less efficient.
On your board it seems that space has been made for larger squared inductors (like the Sagami-type) but round ones have been used. Could it be that you could fit Sagami replacement chokes in?

Tx for answer
the inductors on board are Sagami 7313NC,
they are rated about 4 A
temp is now 57° 🙁

4 A isn't 64W in 4 ohm ?
and 128W in 8 ohm, as my speakers, should be enough 😕
there's space for bigger inductor..
but the're not cheap, and not less than 20 days from china.
I dont know if I want
to invest in this amp, I am not convinced yet.
Not enough punch on bass;
better than LM3886 but worse than TPA3255,
but this latter is not enough clean on mids and treble.
I am about to use bridged configuration
to achieve more power
so I should buy 4 inductors :|

Normally choke saturation current is instantaneous current. For a sine-wave that is the peak current.
Power is Ieff squared multiplied with the speaker impedance.
It is the peak current or effective current that makes us arrive at different results.
My personal impression of the TA2022 is that it has a fantastic sound. Softer than many other. If it is worth further investment for you is your decision.

I'm about to try the bridge configuration,
if it will improve the bass response
I will buy 4 10 A inductors, and this will become mine
ultimate amp ... until the next one 🙂

Update:
I mounted 2 inductors coilcraft PA6331-AE 15uH 10A no heat enymore.
(Is anybody still interested in TA2022 ??)

Good!
Yes, TA2022 still has its audience. I have one modified "CN-board" that plays very well until +/-30V supply. Above, it has a lot of hiss. I have at least two TA2022 ICs which I will use for a hopefully "perfect" version in the future.
TA2022 still has a particularly attractive and soft sound. The integrated power transistors are not up to today's standards such that the TA2022 should rather be used with 6 or 8 Ohm speakers and for home sound levels without extreme bass.
