T.A.C. 34 Mk amp upgrade

Hello there gents. Recently I got the amplifier of the title. I adjusted the bias and now I want to proceed to some upgrades. First of all I want to ask if someone has the schematic of this amp, I recon it used to be online some years ago but I can't find it online now. If someone can help me with this. Also if someone knows any recipe, values of parts(capacitors, resistors) that suit for this amp. Thank you so much in advance 😁

I'm not sure I understood the question. How can you measure the improvement in sound when you change the tube with a better one? How can you measure the improvement when you change signal capacitors with higher quality?

There is presumably an upside to spending the money on 'boutique' components, and risking damaging something when working on an amplifier that needs to be taken apart to make changes on it. How will you know the money spent was worthwhile? Different construction of capacitors does make a difference in different roles, but there is also a law of diminishing returns when spending money on different brands, and there is also a physical constraint on what can be fitted in the space that you have available.

What quality are the output transformers, and what type of speakers do you have?

My thinking is that if you are driven to find some form of audio nirvana then it is best to build it yourself, or buy something that has good quality OPTs and start with that. Then buy some speakers that will match your music tastes that will allow you to hear the changes, and then try and find a way to make changes in a controlled way where they can be assessed at each stage. Otherwise it is like 'pimping your ride', blue lights underneath and garish paint schemes.
