I have a Roland U-20 Keyboard. The ribbon cable had a break at the end. I tried to cut beyond the crack and expose conductors but was unsuccessful. The other end is bonded to to a contact panel. Does anybody have tips or advice to repair this? The replacement costs far more than the Keyboard is worth.
Thanks

the best of luck to you...
I have had a little success by heating carefully, using a scalpel, peel away covering coat of plastic, and using conductive paint to bridge the joint.
