Switchmode PSU for SS amplifiers?

We have been building switchmode power supplies which work off 12v for 25 years. They are fully regulated and perform better than unregulated power supplies whether off 12 or 120/230v.

All our current production of AC mains amplifiers now use swotchmode supplies with PFC.

They outperform all linear supplies (Yes you must take care to layout the PCBs well, shield the differential and common mode filters.

Advantages:
Can regulate to whatever degree we choose. Lower rails mean more reliable amplifiers.
Regulated supplies sound better than floppy loose supplies
Smaller rail capacitors
Smaller transformer
Much lower weight
PFC allows universal mains input with no selector switches - plug and play
Active current limiting protects the supply.
Lower cost per watt than dumb copper+ iron in larger amplifiers

Disadvatages:
Radiation
More complex
Higher cost in low powered amplifiers
