I have a stereo integrated amp (TDAI 3400) and a multi channel processor (JBL SDP-55)
At the moment the JBL passes through the TDAI to 2 subwoofers and onto a stereo power amp for the front speakers.
I’d like to separate stereo from multi channel Using a switch. I’d like a single switch that would take 2 Balanced XLR (L/R) and 2 RCA (subs) inputs from both the TDAI 3400 and the JBL and output 2 Balanced XLR to the power amp and 2 rca to the subs.
Can this be done with a single switch - 12 pin?? Or should I have two separate switches, one for xlr and one for rca?

It depends on your perferance. You can do it with a single 6pdt switch, or one 4pdt for xlr and one dpdt for rca.I’d like to separate stereo from multi channel Using a switch. Another way is utilize some relays controlled by 12V triggers from TDAI 3400 and SDP-55 to automatically connect the power amp and subwoofer.
I can do it with a 6pdt? I thought the XLR connections would take up all the poles as per the diagram below.
The idea of the relay is good. I’ll probably build it with a switch first and move onto a relay once I’ve got comfortable with the build.

In your drawing S2 is a dpdt (double pole double throw) push button switch for a single channel xlr switching.
For stereo xlr switching, it required two of the dpdt switch or a 4pdt (4 pole double throw) switch.
For stereo rca switching, it required another dpdt switch.

To combine both xlr and rca switching, it required a 6pdt switch.
