Swapping potentiometer

Greetings!

It's my first time posting here.

I need to replace a worn out potentiometer in a Creek OBH-12 passive pre. It's a 200ohm/25Kn SoundWell unit.

Any ideas as to where I can purchase a replacement potentiometer in Los Angeles area, or online? I checked and it's a Chinese company that has no sales option on its site.

Is there a better one I can use instead that would solder in without much more difficulty?

Thank you!

Sorry, don't have the preamp with me at the moment.

Any ideas where I can buy a new pot potentiometer made by this company?

Creek wants to sell it for $35 plus vat and shipping from England. Should I order from them or is there a better sounding and/or costing option?

I have no idea I'm afraid, as I have never heard of SoundWell. $35 doesn't sound to bad when you think of the likes of an ALPS pot and it would restore the unit to its former glory.

Without actually seeing one its a bit of an unknown quantity. Pots are pretty straightforward normally but as mentioned, the 200Ω you quote is totally non standard for a normal volume control.
