i am now in the yuzhno-sakhalinsk region in russia, i have been trying to locate dealer or stores for svetlana tubes, i even emailed sales@svetlana.com but my emails kept bouncing back...anybody knows, please post here...
Hi,
Svetlana Electron Devices' U.S. division is out of business.
Since then Svetlana tubes have been relabeled and are now available from dealers worldwide marked as =C= (Sed).
Search the forum for Svetlana if you like, there should be plenty of information on these tubes.
NEW SVETLANA DISTRIBUTION.
Cheers, 😉

THIS SITE DOES NOT PROVIDE A SERVICE FOR VISITORS FROM THE USA & CANADA
******* 😡
80% of tube sales are in the US. They really want to go belly-up, don't they?
Hi,
It's just that they're not entitled to sell to the US and Canada yet.
I assume Svetlana (the factory) is still looking for a dedicated distributor after SED went bust....
Admittedly they do seem to be dragging their feet on this.
Cheers, 😉

Svetlana is in St. Petersburg, Russia, if that helps.
In the USA, CEDist distributes them, and I can buy them from any number of other suppliers too. not hard to find even in the USA. The ones with the C logo are the "real" ones. New Sensor now has the marketing rights to the Svetlana name in the USA and sells relabelled Sovteks as "Svetlana" tubes with the S logo.

Hi joan2,
I would suggest you to look for a "Radio rynok" (radio market) there in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, every important city in Russia has one or more of these open-air market places, where you can find almost everything... and prices are usually a bit lower than in shops.
Cheers,
Bruno
