Hi,
Newbie needs help.
I use an old Audio Technica AT670T SUT where I can choose load, 3,20,40 ohm
I would like to solder my intact transformer (wounded for my EMT) but of course, no load available ;-)
How can I add this load?
Silly question, newbie I told you ^^
Also could you tell me what Dave put into the can?

What's the load impedance of your EMT, also what's the gain of your step-up & the turns ratio?

Dave is a very good maker of transformers, surely he will take in consideration the need of your EMT cart for gain & load so surely you only need to connect the step-up wires correctly (info can give him).
This might help, especially #62:
S.U.T and valve/tube riaa´s
thanks ! Will read and do homework then
That's bees wax in the can.
Wow? just wax, I love the idea ;-)
Thanks
Most EMT cartridges have an output of approx. 1mV.
If this applies to yours, I would go for a 1:5 SUT 🙂

Well SUT is here, and I sent all measurement to Dave, I hope he did it right ;-)
I as just concerned by this extra load

That is not load, that is supposed generator impedance (from the cartridge)
