Well I have finally completed the mods for the 3122 and am ready to put it in it's wooden enclosure. Before I nail it down I would appreciate your comments / advice as to whether there are things that I have done wrong or things that I could do better.

BTL

Nice thread and very useful for my project. Got a couple of these boards and plan on configuring them in BTL.
The first thing to change are the coils for the LC filter. According to the datasheet, I would need 22uH (the ones in the kit seem 10uH).

What would be a better choice: bobbin shielded type inductors or toroid type inductors?

... Replace C22 with a larger value electrolytic (100uF or so) and a small resistor (100-220 ohms) between VCC and C22. This will isolate the internal opamp stage from the switching stage.

Do you mean as an RC filter for VCC? (R in series with Vcc) Would ferrite bead work better?

melted switch

By accident I melted the gain switch with my soldering iron 😡. The gain is set too high. If I take off the switch can I simply use a jumper to reset the gain or do I need a new switch? 😕
