I have mine tilted back by 5 degrees and the top is still sweet and airy. These have a slight on-axis bump in the 10-12k range which flatten out off-axis. The 'dip' you see at the top end of the datasheet is likely a dispersion issue and no support is required there for most any tweeter, except the very large 1.25" types that enter breakup early.
