The costumes were really cool. The staging wasn't bad until they lost a section of led panels. The mix sucked. Stagehands did a great job as always getting all that gack off the field.
Once upon a time during a sleepless night I happened to watch a BBC educational programme about underground power lines. I did not realize that they have to be liquid cooled to stop them from melting without the cooling effect of the air. Just extending one was a major undertaking.
Without special economic or safety concerns it will always be cheaper to just run them overground and keep fixing them.

ConEd installed a section of feeder in lower Manhattan not long ago that is really a superconductor. It's able to carry something like 10X the current of a similarly sized conventional feeder. It's done so well they are replacing more and more sections all over the island.
Christine Aguillera was just painful to the ears, and she muffed the words -- "Twilight's last reaming?" wtf?
That's why she makes the big bucks....

It was... awful. My comment at the time: "I didn't know the word 'yeah!' was in the national anthem."
I knew it is cheaper not to bury them. Initially anyway. It very well may be cheaper in the long run though when you don't have to pay huge amounts of workers overtime to run around town fixing them all the time.
Are we talking Christina Aguillera and the Black Eyed Peas here or are we back on power lines??
