i do some FR test on my 2425h (with horn) and i found that it fall about 5KHz.(see pic)
the measure taken from listening position (not 1m from the horn)
i looking for super tweeter for about 80$.
i buy the fostex ft17, but it start to rise from 5KHz, so its not fit.
i interesting in something like jbl 2405 (but chip). the directivity issue interesting me.
i found the Selenium St320, but only one pice.
Beyma CP21 is little expensive.
Would appreciate help in finding tweeter that suits me.

your horn is probably a constant directivity horn and so you should apply constant directivity correcting equalization.

From web reading, I realized that it is better not to use an equalizer on speaker, is that true here as well?

In the 1980ies and 1990ies JBL used these CD's in their successful two-way 4430 and 4435 studio monitors. Being aware of the HF roll-off you're reporting, they first provided a resistive voltage divider to cope with the different sensitivities of the CD and horn vs. the woofer(s), then a 15 kHz series resonant circuitry in series with a 30 ohms rheostat in parallel with the divider's upper resistor.
Both monitors are switchable between this passive xover and an active, bi-amped and eq-ed solution, though.

my goal now is 4 way jbl system(2425,2202,bass, uper teeter).
i start to build the crossover but its to expensive so i go with bi-amp and DSP or digital XO.
for now, i boost the high frequency in the DSP.

FWIW - here are published responses for some bullet tweeters - - whether realist = ?. (ST200 does not look much like its published curves - AmpsLab has good data on that cheap tweeter)
