hello , i have just built 5v super regulator based on diy audio store pcb. on output there is RMS 5,18V and amplitude 158mV. Is it good result for this kind of regulator? if not how to inprove that? what other measurements can i take to evaluate my build ?
P.S. i am newby 😎

158mV of ripple/noise? That's lousy. 5.18Vdc is okay if it's not meant to be a precision reference.
Did you make all the changes needed for 5V output?
What kind of current is flowing when you measure 158mV?
What kind of current is flowing when you measure 158mV?
What is the input voltage? What opamp do you use, what reference?
How/where did you measure that 158mV?
A schematic with parts values would help to solve it fast.

the input voltage is 13,7 V , opamp lt1012acn8 , referance ADR291gt9z
R6 and R7 1k ; R5 1,25k;
to measure amplitude and output voltage i simply connect osciloscope probe to v+ and grn+
thank you for any suggestions

Is the input (transformer, rectifier, cap) connected to ground somewhere?
It seems that the regulator works OK, but you can verify the voltages at pin 2 and pin 3, they both should be at 2.5V.
Do you have a LED in series with the output? What is the voltage at pin 6?
I am also intrigued how you can measure the 218mV so accurately with a scope?
