My 'setup" is just the same crummy old TV and my usual sound system. With the ESLs, you can really hear the crunch of the harder hits. Some foo-foo gourmet food, a dozen bottles of France and Germany's finest, and we're all set. Since my teams didn't make it this year (49ers and Ravens), and the teams I hate have all been eliminated (Denver, Indy, Redskins, and St. Louis), I can try to enjoy the game on a purist level.

Redskins didn't even get into the playoffs. Hence the ex-genius Steve Spurrier is now an ex-coach.

How can you hate Denver, of all teams?

True enough. I must admit though, I'm a little bit of a Denver fan because of Jake Plummer.

They ought to pass a law that you can't make a guy play for Arizona for more than five years, at least until they get a new owner.

How did the Bills do this year?

😡 😡 😡 😡 :whazzat:

Not so good, in other words. For us long time Bills fans, this time of year is set aside for fasting and meditation on past sins, sort of like Yom Kippur for Buffalonians. 😉

Of course, the Chargers did even worse, but then there are other benefits to living in San Diego over Buffalo!

How did the Bills do this year?

You just cant understand the pane and frustration of growing up in Buffalo...

Its likely why I never watch football any more.

...and then there was living in DC and losing to the Redskins, two years in a row.

Buffalo, great city, great people, even a decent football team...

... and then there was that whole OJ thing.

What the heck is a Super Bowl?

Exactly.
