JOhn...The cadence kit includes crossovers? Is that what you are saying?
So..I have the 5 speakers...if I get this amp...will it run 5? And also, where can I get the correct crossover? Thanks man.

Yes ALL car audio based "COMPONENT" systems include crossovers. Why do you want 5 speakers??? You don't need that. Watch this video: Ghetto Case - YouTube
Hey John. Please bear with me. My son has bought the speakers. I have mounted them. It's good to go. So...I am stuck with that. can you help me? PLEASE. Dyin ova here. Really.

A crossover for 5 speakers is going to cost you upwards of at least $50. And you are going to need one amp for your stereo main channels and another monoblock amp for your infamous "5th speaker" which I suspect is a 10 inch woofer. Your system is highly inefficient.
Is it a Dual Voice Coil woofer ? Sorry man. A crossover for a 5 speaker system is not easy or cheap and if it is not a dual voice coil subwoofer it gets even tougher. Once you add mids you need a passband crossover and then the rabbit hole goes deep.
Can I email you? you know exactly what I need to do...and I have gone in 4 seperate directions...and well...I am pulling my hair out. I think I am on the right path with you.
Thanks.
JC
Thanks.
JC
If you're going with the suitcase build I strongly suggest dropping the extra woofer and just use the component set suggested. You will not get any real bass out of the build anyways so it's just a waste of money.
Ok...If i use the 4 speakers I have...drop the sub. 3 questions.
1). Do I need crossovers? Can you suggest one?
2). Will this be loud enough.
3). The battery you suggested is able to recharge?
Thanks J!

1) Crossover included in the component kit as already stated 3 times before.
2) Impossible to answer what is loud enough
3) Any SLA can be recharged
Those are a great deal too. I would have to compare them side by side.
So far I am blown away by the CWM-6KIT. Great build quality for under $60.
Hi,
I agree you get a lot for your money, but I don't like the look of the c/o's.
The other kit appears to have more money spent on the c/o's and less
on the drivers, IMO a far better bet. Apparent value isn't always.
I'd say you need a measuring set up for the CWM-6Kit and c/o rework.
rgds, sreten.
Here is my final suggestion:
Get two of these: Crossover 3-Way 8 Ohm 800/5,000 Hz 100W
And order the AMP6 : 41Hz Audio:AMP6-BASIC Assembled
Good Luck.

And that componentry will allow me to use what I have? One set of speakers are 4ohm.
Here is what I will order:
1... 2 way crossover. 8 0hm
1 crossover for a 4ohm.
1 amp6 basic assembled (this will run 5 speakers?)
1 battery--that you listed.
1 charger that you listed.
Is this correct?
Thanks John...I am sure this is beyond annoying for you. I appreciate it.

I ordered a pair. WTF. Let's see. I am sure they will sound great in my future boombox project. Project Featherweight. Originally designed as a 2.1 system. Let's see what the weight comparison (two lightweight woofers VS one DVC large magnet woofer) turns out in the end.

Hi,
Not a chance if the 4 speakers you have are the ones listed earlier.
This thread is all over the place due to very lazy questions.
Generally utterly clueless and nowhere near a good solution.

I hear you Sreten..and I am very frustrated. I try to ask specifics..and get 5 word answers...I still love this place...but damn. I am in a pinch and need some real help.
Hi,
Its not clear what parts you currently have if any. Its not clear for what purpose.
I'd say take a deep breath and start again. What battery life do you want ?
What sort of volume do you want ? What sort of bass capability do you want ?
What sort of form factor do you want ? What is the thing actually for ?
For the last you cannot describe it by suggesting something is the answer.
