suitable horndesign for TangBand W8-740

My brother inlaw is going to build a subhorn to go with his Buschhorn MkII TB, but the horn should also be able to shake the furniture when watching movies. His plan is to use two TangBand W8-740C as that is what he has (he has six of them, but more than two seems overkill).

Any suggestions which horn design might fit these drivers and isn't toooo big?

Thanks!

It's to be integrated with 4 Buschhorn MkII TB in a hometheatre system, but still play clean and detailed bass enough to fit with two of the buschhorns for musik listening.

Does it have to be a horn? I wouldn't use a horn at all for what you are decribing. The Buschorn should go pretty low on it's own, plus it's not a high SPL design, so you want a sub that goes pretty low to complement it. Bass horns in reasonable "living room" sizes are compromized in this respect, as a bass horn would have to be pretty big to go down low.

Personally, I would pick ported over horn for the application you are describing if faced with only those 2 choices. I built a couple of ported W8-740's and they are fine. The problem in applying the TB to sealed and ported enclosures is the big Vas. If you are looking for something more exotic to go with a horn, consider aperiodic, ML-TL, etc. If you are handy with electronics at all, consider a Linkwitz sealed.
