Re. 5.2

One speaker will be used in each cabinet.

Your comments will reflect my final decision.

Remember, this will be used for fullrange purposes!

My suggestions ....

1) Add a 4 inch diameter port that is between 1 and 2 inches long and put it 4" from the bottom of the cabinet.

2) Shorten the cabinet by a couple of inches.

3) Mount the driver 6 inches from the top fo the cabinet.

4) Place 0.25 lb/ft^3 of fiber stuffing in the top 30" of the cabinet.

5) Place a Zobel across the driver terminals.

6) In series with the driver put a 4 mH iron core inductor (ERSE) in parallel with a 8 ohm Mills resistor. Tune the value of the resistor to taste and to account for the amp and the room.

How does that sound? What driver are you using?

4 tens per box?

Just wad the things 'till you can barely get the drivers in, and use them as bass guitar cabs...

if you mean 1 10" percabinet, forget all about full-range response. 10"ers won't go that high unless you get some bizarre coaxial.

Hmm.

Maybe you could find space on there someplace to put a soft dome or ribbon tweeter... make a nice little 2-way system with really horrible response around whatever crossover freq you choose...

Ok Guys..........

Here's what I'm dealing with
