Hello,
What I am trying to accomplish is to be able to look at a phono preamp (either solid state or vacuum tube) and understand how the RIAA EQ was accomplished, either with negative feedback or passive design. To be able to understand how the combinations of resistance and capacitance were chosen to form the necessary curve. My goal is to understand enough to be able to change the RIAA playback EQ to NAB/IEC tape playback curve in a preamp. I would appreciate any suggestions of texts that explain how RIAA EQ is calculated.
Thank you!
