That room is so large you will need a horn loaded midrange to have any clarity beyond a few feet (compared to a direct radiator midrange).

OK, so that's an easy decision, miniDSP 2x8 it is. That will also allow me to can that el-cheapo electronic sub crossover I've been using.
Have a look a the Behringer iNuke DSP series amps - full DSP built in, very solid power for casual pro audio use, sound good, easy to work with, and cheap.

how far apart are your sub drivers?
Not subs, utilized as lows, each individual woofer is in it's own 7.5ft^3 enclosure. (there is a partition in the middle of the picture above)
2nd box is now complete, but forgot Parts Express only had enough ports to complete one enclosure way back, just ordered the remainder.
what frequency range are they intented to run?
Probably ~ 35-200hz or so.
