Suggestions for Guitar amp speaker ?

I am building my first guitar amp. I'ts going to have 2-12" or 2-10" speakers. Any suggestions for a speaker that has a classic, universally praised sound? Are any of the Neo magnet speakers any good. I'd like to keep the weight down if possible. Thanks.
