Hey, I'm looking for enjoyable light music. I know everyone has different definitions of what's enjoyable, so please feel free to use your own.
As for 'light' - I'm sort of looking for music for music that I could feasibly sleep beside at low volumes if I was excessively tired. This should not be confused with music that will put you to sleep - please keep the first definition in mind.
Hopefully not just songs, but entire albums. Or even artist suggestions are fine.

John Rutter. (try the very best of John Rutter)
John Taverner. (Album, song for Athene)
Bach, Goldberg Variations (Andras Schiff on Penguin Classics. No other interpretation comes close imo)

This could become a long list, but a couple of albums offhand... The twofer reissue of Spirit's first and third albums; Great War of Words by Brian Kennedy.
I find myself putting this on before bed all the time, I think it gives me euphoric dreams.
Pat Metheny "What's It all About" album
He has lots of other material good for this sort of thing.
You can find it on Spotify 🙂

Eva Cassidy. The "Best Of" is one of my favorites.
For more ambient stuff, check out Zero 7 and Massive Attack, or even some of the "true" dubstep artists, like Burial or Distance.
Edit: Oh, almost forgot Igor Presnyakov. The acoustic guitar covers album is quite good, and it's cool to hear hard rock and metal songs played classical guitar style.
