Suggestion for plug-in enhancement or new plug-in

I have an old dBx 110 Subharmonic synthesizer.
It's basic idea is to scan the low bass range and then create an extra octave, lower, with the gain (of the added section) adjustable.

Could that type of functionality be coded and added to both the Graphic Equaliser and the PEQ plug-ins?

It's a good idea and we like it... maybe some feature that we'd add to a Sub plug-in we've been thinking about for quite a while now..

Unfortunately, that kind of feature on all other plug-ins may be taking too much DSP power.
