Suggestion for new forums

There is no single thread for people to show off their completed projects. Closest thing is the thread "System pictures and descriptions" located - strangely - in the Multi-Way forum under "Loudspeakers". That thread is a mix of people posting their completed loudspeakers and complete systems.

I propose a new group of forums called "Completed projects". It might include forums like "Power amplifiers", "Source & Line" and "Loudspeakers" or whatever you folks think is best. Maybe separate forums for digital source and analog source. Maybe a forum for signal processors.

I really think people would enjoy a central location to look at other builders completed projects. I know I would. 🙂

I agree 🙂

I'm not sure making another 60 forums prepended with the word "completed" is the solution, but please do know that this (a nice way to share completed projects, and get inspiration) is something I would like to see here.

Spend time in your kitchen. Problem solved.

My kitchen and den are sort of one room.

There's a home theater rack in the den.

It's never the same.

Is that what you meant?

How about moving the couch, does that count?

I think the OP is thinking along the lines of completed things... not systems. But yes, maybe Jason, in his spare time, can provide a tag tool that allows posters to so identify their posts and then the site can implement dynamically created forums generated by parsing posts that are tagged as "completed item picture"...

🙁

Correct. What prompted me to make my post was the "System Pictures & Description" sticky thread in the Multi-Way Loudspeaker forum. I want a place to see other peoples completed speakers, and it's full of posts about peoples' whole systems - which sometimes don't have any homebuilt components.
