I am new to this thread, need your expert suggetion. I want to build a IC based amplifier for my car co-axial speakers. The aim is sound quality with 50 to 75 watt RMS. Please suggest the possible solutions.

one possible solution is an SMPS and tda7294.
i em not sure what high current dc-dc boost converters are available, but surely others can share a few.
without a boost converter tda1562q could be mentioned, but it is a discounted item.
it is class H , so the output power is kindof.. "depends on how you look at it".
if possible, i would go for the boost converter methood.

there is a schematic in elektor on march 1995 abt a TDA1560Q by T.Giesberts. pretty cool power in 12v single supply.
