Now this may sound obvious but I've searched around and found opposing answers on the matter...
Question is, on a RCA phono connector, which polarity is the prong and which is the surrounding thingy. Common sense tells me the prong is positive but I have read otherwise when trying to use google and searching here didnt help me so i suppose everybody knows lol..

On almost all RCA connectors, especially those used on audio equipment, the center pin is signal and the outer ring is ground.
