Subwoofer with a double JBL 2226h

Hi, I have readed this old post Enclosure for JBL 2226 as a subwoofer? in particular SBP - Almighty Subwoofers by Stig Erik Tangen where there is a project for a subwoofer with a JBL 2226h.
Did someone realize the project of Stig Erik Tangen? My idea is to use two woofer (I have 4 JBL 2226h) for box. What do it change using two woofer? I see that in Stig Erik Tangen's project there are a lot of reinforcements inside the box and this involves space: are all these reinforcements essential or can they be reduced by using thicker wood? Can someone help me because, for example, I don't understand the dimension of the port in the Stig Erik Tangen draw?
Kind regards
Giuseppe

Hi, a 200 liters (driver) and 24Hz tuning can be modeled. Also size of port mouth is related to power you need and application but can be cheked. Don't you have the measures for the port? Also make it the size that can fit your doors.

The box design is clear (80 cm depht, 70 cm high, 60 width cm), the construction plans are less clear. The door should be 8 cm high, 56 cm wide and 70 cm deep: the last measurement is unclear but I can imagine looking at the drawing. It is my intention to mount the two woofers in a 120 cm wide and 90 cm high cabinet with the doors placed on the two vertical sides: of course the depth to be defined will be established by the required volume. The piece of furniture must also house the upper streets, with an indicative drawing. Unfortunately, I don't have equipment, so I turn to you. I would also like to put internal reinforcements but simpler than those of the original project. The box has a net internal volume of 220 liters to obtain 20 / 22Hz.

Ah, this is going to be the JBL 4350-alike that you presented at the audioheritage.org forum, isn't it? I think that you've got the information yet from there that the 2226 might not be the best woofer here and you'd better stay with the original drivers, haven't you?
Best regards!
