I currently use free WINISD. I am looking to upgrade. I have tried Horn Response and the learning curve on that is a little steep. I am looking at possibly trying bassbox pro or upgrading to winisd pro. Thoughts or reccomendations?
I do not recommend you BassBox Pro. It is very outdated and likes to crash.
What is wrong with WinISD?

I use BassBox Pro without any problems at all... So perhaps the problems are on the computer end. Yes it is outdated, but it is a very easy tool to use, and regardless of how great other programs out there might be, if you can't use them, they are as good as useless. If you want to give me a few driver and box details, I can try to model a sub for you to give you an idea of BBP6.
Both are very old, probably new operating systems don't like them. Newer operating systems detect more bugs.
I gave up on WinISD when trying to enter driver parameters.
Maybe try Woofer Box and Circuit Designer?

Looks half decent. I personally don't like too much happening on the screen at one time but unfortunately that is the nature of spreadsheets. Bit of a driver database, but nothing like that available for BBP6.
What can I say... I refuse to use anything after 7, it could be an incompatibility issue. Did you try compatibility mode?
No, I normally don't use Windows. I just wanted see how something is done in BassBox in virtual machine.

Well it was written a long time ago. If you can emulate an earlier 32 bit OS, you might have better success.
Is there no English version? The one I downloaded was in German.
Found it under Optionen (which is Option in German) just click English and Save.

Hello guys I just found this thread and thinking if any of you could help me design good box for SBAcoustics 8” SB23MFCL45-4 I never design anything so I’m completely green in that and in need of nice sounding sub to complement my speakers I read lots online and think sealed or 4th order band pass will be best I did some calculations with pen and paper but I’m not sure that will sound good
Thanks in advance
