Subwoofer controller output after pot question?

I have a little subwoofer controller with 2 dual NE5532 op amps that was built from an ebay kit PCB and works fine. I don't have a schematic but stereo input > stereo to mono resistors > gain stage > crossover filter with adjustment 20-200Hz > volume pot.

The question is that the output comes directly from a B50K pot and would like to add a cap (e.g. 4.7-10uF) after this but should I also add a resistor (e.g 100K) to signal ground?

I could add a buffer or an inverting / normal circuit but prefer to keep it simple as it works. This feeds a parallel LM4780 power amp with Zin 47K.
