Subwoofer amplifier modification for full range.

I got given a bunch of audio equipment a while back, full details can be had here

I got in that lot, a bunch of these AA0501 subwoofer amplifiers. Looking at them, I'm seeing 2 discrete boards, one for receiving and filtering inputs, and another for amplification.

My question is, is it within reason to replace/modify the filter board for use in a full range active monitor style system. Is it sensible to assume this amplification circuit is essentially the same, regardless of what frequency its amplifying?
