I need a substitute transistor for the MJ4502 (i cant get these in Australia) preferrably in a plastic package. I've tried seaching thru data books and on the net and so far i've turned up pretty much nothing of any use. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Upon further investigation, I've found that WES Components and Rockby Electronic Components both located in southern Australia stock the mj4502
But, I would still like to know if anyone here knows of an equivalent part that comes in a plastic package perferably part of a complementary pair as I am also looking for an NPN part as well.
