Sure, but if you use the Watched Threads view you’ll never miss anything you‘re subscribed to, and won’t be adding to your thousands of emails deep inbox.
Got it! A weekly email to let me know which of my watched threads have been updated would go down a treat. Thanks JP.
Also, I'd like to state that I'm keen to give the new platform and new (and in most cases improved) concepts their day in the sun and not try to jam XF back into a vB shaped box. A lot of these things could be covered in a "welcome to the new platform" video or tutorial.

This issue seems to have not gone away.
It's been quite a while (weeks/months) since I last received an update notification email, either for threads that I am 'watching' or for ones that I created. The most recent was in the Parts forum started a few days ago. Have not received any notification of new replies.

OK I think I know the problem. I have to "log in" and read the posts. Most of my forum reading is not logged in. Sorry for the hassle.
