A friend & I are building some sealed subs using the Peerless XLS 12, with EQ. We’re basically doing the Linkwitz Thor.
Some will be rolled off at 50 Hz, some for another system at closer to 100 Hz. The dimensions are about 350 * 350 * 480 mm (14 * 14 * 19 inches).
- We’re probably using MDF – how thick should it be? 18 or 25 mm: ¾ or 1 inch?
- Anyone have a power supply recommendation for the EQ? Is a “wall wart” sufficient?
Thanks

Either ok.
18mm or 25mm will be fine, just that you may want more bracing on the 18mm thickness. With a box that size, you may not even need any bracing, though it won't hurt.
Is this a homebuilt EQ circuit? I think an AC adapter should prove more than sufficient, given the large range of voltages and current outputs available these days. It's just a question of determining the needs of your circuit. Such a circuit should draw very little power.
