The Adire Brahma 12 seems like an insane woofer at any price, but $379 seems very reasonable. Is there a better woofer cheaper, or at this price than the Brahma 12? I dont have the ability to go to 15's in the trunk of my '97 Nissan Altima. Is the Brahma best, or would I see better performance from an Audiobahn or Kicker L7 maybe?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

there is realy no best woofer...it all depends on the enclosure...i know alot of people that have the brahama..the box type they reccomend is a vented or some people call it ported...the brahma is a good spl and a good sq subwoofer..other good brands are.....image dynamics idmax....re xxx...re sx.....digital designs...eclipse titanium or eclipse aluminum...kicker comp vrs are good cheap sub but it bottoms out easily..jl w6's...the rockford power hx2's are good tooo the list goes on...the list i listed is from experience.....if u need more help email me at drew028@netzero.net

Other good options for cheaper are IDmax as drew028 said and a friend of mine is purchasing a TC9 (TC Sounds) Very good sub, I believe the Eclipse speakers come from TC Sounds and the TC9 is $200 (purchase from Stephen Ponte TC Sounds Sales Manager, I believe it is $200 shipped)
I am very happy with my Brahma 10", and overall with Adire's products. The XBL^2 makes for very clean, accurate sound.
