Hi Åke, the Joachim Gerhard filter is specifically designed for ES9022/23. It needs the coils as they are essential parts for its exact functioning with ES9023.

I don't mind discussing the JG filter at all but its details should be discussed in its now threads. Integration with the Subbu V3 and the results (V3 sounds better/same/worse with the JG filter) can be discussed in either the Build... thread or the Modifying ... thread. We're here in the GB thread. I try to concentrate things so that I can keep track of information for technical support purposes (which we don't give, remember?).

Never tried the filter so I am not in the position to judge a thing. My built never got finished.

Dear Builders/modders, I encourage you all to join the following threads for technical matters and pictures of your V3's.

Don't be shy and post pictures of your V3 and get comments of experienced builders. Regardless of you pride please post safely built V3's. One thread for building and one thread for modding the Subbu V3. Member Bcmbob undertook effort to make the first page of the Build thread a shining example of concentrating the info that was scattered all around.

This thread is for Group Buy issues only. Since the GB is over we can concentrate on building and encasing the DAC I think.
