Hi All

As previously suspected, I've got this morning a letter from French custom 😡
I've to declare value paid and content...
Great, as I've mentionned not to be done so 🙁
BTW it will take more time before beeing delivered.
I'll keep you informed

Yes voxxonline, I've been delivered from Mouser and other suppliers.

Regards

Phil
Phil,

The package was heavy and the post office refused to take the package if I don't fill in the customs form. I had no other choice other than filling in the form. Let me know if you need any help with customs.

Regards,
Subbu

Hi guys,
Last week i have received my PCBs (x2) too but don't found the chips? I will triple check this evening but this could be a possible issue?
If yes how this can be resolved?
Last option would be that it was in another package than the PCBs in the package recieved and by mistake i put it in the garbage (i doubt about this one but cannot be 100% affirmative) can you tell me where you guys have found the chips? Inside the package with the PCBs or in another one?

The chip I received was U1 (WM8804) transceiver and not the DAC as I had assumed till I started building. Mine was inside the same anti-static bag as the boards but in it's own tiny sleeve. It is small enough to be overlooked easily.

the dac chip is in a sealed plastic cell from a strip reel, together with the pcb's in the anti static pouch.

it is very small, about 10mm sq

While you received the U1, i received the U6. i guess, maybe some received both the U1 and the U6. Packages varies it seems.

Hi all, we have an error on the PCB. Please note if you use tantalum cap for C7 that the + on the PCB is printed wrong. Tantalum caps have their + marked by a thick line. We made a mistake with C7, sorry. You will have to solder it in reverse.

Hi Phil,
Do we have any update on the parts GB? Have you had to pay import duty on the parts from Subbu, if so what costs do you need to recover?
Your efforts are greatly appreciated, administering the sorting, packing and mailing must be a huge task.

Ian

Hello Subbu,

I'm still waiting for the PCB. I wonder how many of us are waiting. When did you ship the last batch?
Of course, I thank you and I understand the huge effort behind this GB 🙂. I'm just worried about something wrong in the shipping 🙁 (customs, address, etc).
